Hi soulight

I am so sorry Figaro passed on last year. I am saddened to hear this. You have my deepest sympathy over your loss.It takes quite sometime to get over the loss of a pet and a friend. I hope you can get another cat sometime soon. 

I was so worried about Sunny and still wonder how he hung on till back to the vet those last two days before he got his IV's. I was on the floor petting and holding his head up telling him hang in there for two days. What I know now about his paper work from the lab and his creatine levels were at a 6 not good as anything above a 5 is bad. I am surprised he stayed alive and made it through the vet stay..Once he got the IV's his creatine levels returned to normal and he can now eat regular cat food.

You are welcome soulight and I hope soon some kitty walks into your life so you can give him love back like you did with Figaro.

Hi Starshine ,

Unfortunately , the IV and other medical procedures were too much for Figaro and he died last year in August. I still have a huge hole in my heart . What amazing love we can have for our furbabies and what real love they give back. I miss my furbaby . Someday I will be ready for another one or two , but not yet.

I hope your cat Figaro is better by now. How is Figaro? I have heard of people giving their cats IV's at home but I am glad I never had to do that.

I left you something on your page as without seeing it on your site Volunters of America picked up this tab on his stay so EXTREMELY GRATEFUL TO THEM and called Nichole to tell her so.

Hi

It is 4pm and I called the vets and he is looking alert. They asked if I wanted to say hi over the speaker phone. I said yes and told Sunny love you, we are praying for you and whistled calling his name as he came when I whistled. The lady said he was looking around for me..At least he heard my voice and knows I am still around. That made me feel better..

Thank you and so sorry one of your cats was put to sleep. It is a hard thing to do and then to see then go downhill like Sunny and because a vet didn't do his job that is the killer. I am hoping so and miss my cat like crazy even though he could drive me up a wall with begging for treats. I hope he returns home better. I miss him so much as like we have shared we are their mommies..

Thank you for the prayers..When the vet called this morning I thought he was going to tell me he had to put him to sleep.

Oh Starshine,

I pray Sunny gets better. I know first hand the pain & feeling like a failure. As I had to have one of my cats put to sleep last week.

Its not your fault at all. Don't punish yourself. Hopefully, the vet can get him healed quickly.

My prayers are with both of you.

Hi soulight. Sunny knows I care for him. And Rosie her is very sweet person and yes get to know her better. She writes wonderful articles for examiner and works hard. I know I did my best and the vet made the mistake!!!

This is not how I let my animals get for I trust a vets opinion..I am just starting to eat and house cleaner is here so that is good. It is going to be lonely without him and hoe he returns to me healthly soon. Thank you and take care.Love to you Starshine

First of all , do not feel like a failure. The love you have given to Sunny is what is important. You didn't fail in anything . You did your best . The cat doctor made the mistake , not you. Rosie sounds really sweet . I need to know her better.

I have just read about Sunny dear, and pray all goes well for you, am not surprised he is dehydrated after he has been through. You need to be strong for him dear, dont skip your meals, my thoughts are with you.

Thank you soulight. I hope so will see. I know I petted him and held his head up talking to him feeling like failure that I didn't protect him more. How can these dr's screw up!! Rosie sent an email and said which I thought was so sweet.

Oh, I am sooo sorry to hear that Sunny is sick!!  If it is his time to go, I know he will look back on a lifetime of love!

And Sunny has gotten love and when he is bad scolded but not beaten. He loves whiskas treats..I hope he gets better soon.

I am so sorry that Sunny ( and you ) are going through so much . I'm glad someone else is picking up the bill. My cat Figaro had similar problems. They wanted me to give him an IV at home and I couldn't do it. He was so sweet . He meowed to me as if to say"What are you doing , Mom ? " But he didn't growl or try to bite me. I ended up taking him to the vet everyday for the IV .

 

I am still keeping Sunny and you in my prayers.
